Job Description:
The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical billing and applying coding knowledge within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Department. The ideal candidate should possess a medical background, hold a coding certificate, and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Process medical billing claims efficiently and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding and billing regulations.
Utilize relevant software and systems for billing and coding tasks.
Work closely with other RCM team members to optimize revenue cycle processes.
Provide support in audits and quality assurance activities.
Requirements:
Educational background in a medical field.
Coding certificate from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
Proficient in relevant coding and billing software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
