Assistant Behavior Specialist (Arabic Speaking)

The Dubai Autism Center is hiring for the Assistant Behavior Specialist (Arabic Speaking) role, effective May 1, 2023.

The candidate will be directly supervised by the Lead BCBA and work in a program overseen by a BCBA-D. The role would include assisting the Lead BCBA with program development, training, and administrative tasks. The curriculums you would gain exposure to include PEAK, ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, DI-Language for Learning, Socially Savvy, AIM, Canvas, AFLS, LIFE Emergence. Experience with these curriculums is helpful but not required.

The work schedule includes a 4 1/2 day work week (7:30 AM - 2:30 PM M-Th; 7:45 AM - 11:30 AM F). The candidate would be off every other Friday and follow the school holiday schedule.

Qualifications: Candidate should have their BCaBA or QASP-S credential (will consider an individual currently pursuing their QASP-S credential) and have at least 2 years of experience working in the special needs field.

The Dubai Autism Centre (DAC) is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive and specialized services to children with Autism and their families. Founded in November 2001 with the issuance of a decree from the Ruler of Dubai, the DAC maintains international standards, providing intervention programs through a holistic approach for children with autism. The Centre also provides information, support, advice and training to professionals and parents of children with autism working towards facilitating a better understanding of autism in the UAE community.
